Understanding the demand map

The demand map shows you how popular each seat is among SeatDrop users. Toggle it on using the demand heatmap button above the seat map.

What the colours mean

When the demand map is enabled, seats are coloured by how many people are monitoring them:

ColourMonitors
Dark blue0 — no one else is monitoring
Green1
Yellow2
Orange3
Red4
Bright red5 or more

How to use this information

If a popular seat opens up, multiple people will be notified at the same time. Seats with fewer monitors give you a better chance of being the first to book.

Consider monitoring seats with lower demand if you want less competition, or cast a wider net by monitoring both popular and less-popular seats in your preferred area.
